Senolytic Action
Fisetin helps eliminate senescent cells, also known as "Zombie cells." These cells accumulate with age, causing inflammation and impairing cellular function, which can increase the risk of age-related diseases.
Cognitive Support
Preclinical studies have shown Fisetin’s promising effects on brain cells and cognitive pathways. It crosses the blood-brain barrier, supporting neuronal health and preserving glutathione levels and mitochondrial function during oxidative stress.
-
Support Healthy Aging
Fisetin targets and clears senescent cells, promoting cellular rejuvenation and supporting overall health as you age.
-
Powerful Antioxidant
Fisetin acts as a defense mechanism against oxidative stress, safeguarding your health at a cellular level.
-
Reduce Inflammation
Fisetin helps alleviate inflammation, contributing to a more comfortable and vibrant lifestyle.

I love the idea of having fisetin in a pure form, just as intended by nature. I love the product! Its easy on my digestion and love the purity of ingredients.
After just a few weeks of taking Arcwell Fisetin, I've noticed a significant improvement in my knee inflammation, which has completely subsided. It's like a breath of fresh air for my joints! Not only that, but my body feels lighter and more energetic than it has in years. This supplement has truly exceeded my expectations and has given me a new lease on life. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with similar issues!
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s fisetin?
Fisetin is a bioactive flavonoid found in fruits and vegetables such as strawberry, apple, persimmon, grape, onion, and cucumber at concentrations in the range of 2–160 μg/g (as below figure).
Fun fact: 100 mg pure fisetin is about consumption of 60 strawberries. Fisetin has shown numerous interesting biological activities with clinical potentials including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neurotrophic effects.
Additionally. Fisetin holds a notable reputation as potent senolytic for its role in eliminating senescent cells, aka "Zombie cells”.

What’s Cellular Senescence? Senescent cells? Senolytics?
- Senescence is the consequence of a signaling mechanism activated in stressed cells to prevent proliferation of cells with damages. In other words, cellular senescence is a state in which cells cease to divide and undergo changes in function. Senescence can be triggered by various factors, such as DNA damage, telomere shortening, or stress.
- Senescent cells can accumulate in tissues over time and contribute to aging and age-related diseases by secreting inflammatory molecules and affecting surrounding cells. They are sometimes referred to as "Zombie cells" because they are alive but no longer function as they should.
- Senolytics are compounds or therapies designed to selectively induce the death (or clearance) of senescent cells. They target and eliminate these dysfunctional cells, which accumulate in tissues with age and contribute to age-related diseases and degeneration. Senolytics hold promise for potentially delaying aging and improving healthspan by removing these harmful cells from the body.

How to combat Senescent cells?
Combatting senescent cells involves various approaches aimed at either preventing their formation, eliminating existing senescent cells, or mitigating their harmful effects.
Here are some strategies:
- Lifestyle Changes: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise, a balanced diet rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory foods, and adequate sleep, can help reduce cellular stress and the accumulation of senescent cells.
- Fasting: Some studies suggest that intermittent fasting may help reduce the accumulation of senescent cells and promote their clearance through mechanisms like autophagy, the cellular process of degrading and recycling damaged components.
- Senolytics: As mentioned earlier, senolytic compounds such as fisetin, and quercetin, have shown senolytic properties in preclinical studies, indicating their potential for selectively target and eliminate senescent cells. These therapies are actively being researched and developed as potential interventions for age-related diseases.
What are the health benefits of fisetin, and are they backed by human clinical trials?
Fisetin offers several health benefits:
-
Senolytic: Targets and eliminates senescent cells, aiding in anti-aging efforts.
-
Anti-Inflammatory: Reduces inflammation throughout the body.
-
Antioxidant: Protects cells from oxidative stress.
-
Neuroprotective: Supports brain health and cognitive function.
-
Potential Anti-Cancer: Shows promise in inhibiting cancer cell growth.
While most of these health benefits are supported by preclinical data, a double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 37 colorectal cancer patients receiving 100 mg of fisetin for seven consecutive weeks has indicated an improvement in the inflammatory status, suggesting fisetin's potential as a complementary therapy (ref1). Additionally, ongoing human clinical trials are exploring further benefits as the following table (ref2).

Is Fisetin safe and where does it come from?
The dosage of 100 mg of Fisetin per day has been deemed safe, as supported by human clinical trials conducted on cancer patients, aimed at reducing inflammation. Additionally, Fisetin is a natural flavonoid abundantly found in fruits such as strawberries, apples, onions, and cucumbers, further reinforcing its safety for consumption.
Arcwell Fisetin is isolated from Rhus succedanea, a plant known for its high fisetin content. With a guaranteed purity exceeding 98%, Arcwell Fisetin provides a premium, concentrated form of this natural compound, ensuring both its efficacy and safety for use as a dietary supplement.
